I thought I'd start with mentioning a couple of yoga people that I admire. Please feel free to join in with this list celebrating anyone who has made a contribution to spreading the yogic word!
- Adrienne Mishler (Yoga with Adrienne) - Her Youtube posts are a must for anyone who is exploring yoga or coming into it as a beginner wanting to learn at home. They're easy to learn from and great for getting the hang of correct alignment.
- Erin Motz (aka Bad Yogi) - If you're worried about not being 'yoga' enough then she's a really good one to follow. She spreads the notion that you don't have to be totally health conscious or able to get your leg behind your head, you just have to give it a go.

Yoga gets your blood flowing. More specifically, the relaxation exercises you learn in yoga can help your circulation, especially in your hands and feet. Yoga also gets more oxygen to your cells, which function better as a result. Twisting poses are thought to wring out venous blood from internal organs and allow oxygenated blood to flow in once the twist is released.
